After the UK Parliament rejected her Brexit plans for the third time, UK Prime Minister Theresa May has decided to step down as leader of the Conservative Party.

She announced her departure after talks with Graham Brady, the chairman of the backbench 1922 committee of Tory MPs.

Theresa May has announced she will step down as Conservative Party leader on 7 June.

Addressing public on Friday, she broke down in tears as she said serving as prime minister was “the honour of my life.”
